Re: Homosexuality…
About homosexuality…
I was made more aware of the situation some people get into when a single mind is divided after viewing an episode of Discovery Health in which paternal twins were sharing one mind, that of the father. One of the twins, possessed of the masculine aspects of the father, decided to have a sex change operation in order to feel more “normal”, or comfortable with herself, to really be who she was. Is this the only option?
It was this program that made me aware of psychic connections, now I am curious about how long one can sustain this kind of connection.

Joel Osteen on The View…
I just watched a video clip on abcnewsgo.com. I don’t think it’s a conundrum, I think people are afraid to talk about how they really feel about homosexuality, not for themselves but for those who are struggling with their sexuality, acceptance of themselves and social acceptance. Mr. Osteen I love what you have to say mostly because it is objective and non-judgemental, “judge not least ye be judge”. Our society as a whole is not perfect or “God’s best” as you so aptly put it, we are a work in progress. If we were perfect there would be no disease, no war and so forth. I think many people have simply been programmed to think negatively about homosexuality and it is going to take time to erase the poor mental programming that some have been subjected to and this is even true of those who feel they are gay but simply cannot come to terms with their sexual orientation. I do believe there is a perfect order in the Universe and that the fulfillment of that perfect order is more powerful than any opposing human force. Our planet started out as a chaotic mass of fire and brimstone. From that fire and brimstone have been created some of the most beautiful places one can imagine. It did not happen overnight. It took time and so it goes with the work of perfecting society and even mankind as we still do not yet know how far man’s evolution will extend into the future and what he will be like.
I think if we trained our eyes to focus on more important things, as opposed to another’s personal life, unless that person is seeking help (for which there are lots of professionals who can help), then we would be better prepared to cope with situations like September 11, 2001. I realized how ill prepared I was in the event any disaster or catastrophe should happen after watching what happened to the World Trade Center September 11th and Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Nothing humbled me more to the forces of nature than being flooded out of my apartment in 1999 by hurricane Floyd, despite it’s lack of severity as compared to the flooding that occurred in Princeville, NC.
I have discovered in retrospect that there were times in my past that I thought I was loved by others, that I simply did not love myself. Today I see it differently and I accept myself for what ever I am and however I am on any given day. Unconditional love was one of the most valuable ideas for living I learned in Alcoholics Anonymous.
I know it sounds as if I am being impudent, I am not. Mr. Osteen’s apparent contradiction is simply the lack of consciousness, of which we all fall victim. What I am aware of today, I might lose consciousness of tomorrow or rather I might suppress that awareness in lieu of something else.
Where has all the money gone…
The State of North Carolina has raised $1.5 billion via the State Lottery for Education. Franklinton High School in Franklinton, NC cannot afford to give each student a textbook. Textbooks have to be shared.
WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING? Governor Perdue flew to China. WHERE DID THAT MONEY COME FROM?
Where are the textbooks for these students? Why do they not have their textbooks, Governor Perdue? No student should be without a textbook during any part of a school year for any reason. Governor Perdue has been more interested in pursuing the latest technology for counties with higher incomes to acquire resources such as Blackboard to the exclusion of other schools getting textbooks?

Kay Francis…
…is Katherine Gibbs’ screen name, which really belongs to the mother of Dwight Francis to whom she was married. My Aunt Ellen Francis was married to my Uncle Jodie Gibbs, they had no children.

About my misuse of “that”…
I was taught to use it incorrectly, not deliberately but as an example of what not to do.
Snake Pit
...this is the movie that has been making me crazy lately. Manchurian Candidate, From Hell, My Name is Abbie, Aileen Wournos, Blue Velvet, Wonder Boys, Suddenly Last Summer, Atonement...from 2001-2009, to name quite a few more. I am sure now I was acting out someone else's TV viewing.
The main theme through all of these movies was control, either over others, by others or one's self. I am also convinced now that I was not the one who authored the picture in 2001.
The Psychiatrist in Snake Pit looks like Mironov in Mosquito Coast. De Haviland's character in this film had basically been kidnapped by the asylum and was being subjected to projective identification by the psychiatrist. When she was interrogated by the staff as to her level of recovery, the transferences were quite clear to me, despite the older Doctor pressuring her with all of his questions. I was reminded of Ernest Jones and his affair with one of his patients and also my mentally ill great-grandmother who was a Jones. Jones studied under Freud, Freud used cocaine...
I think my great-grandmother Elvira was possessed of Jones' patient-mistress, well I am sure of it. Elvira ~ a Rivel...
The psychiatrist has repressed his masculine and projected it onto his patient, he is a contrasexual. He has formed a special relationship with the patient in order to transfer his animus to her. She then has to return to the patients, the transferences that were placed into the Doctor, sort of like you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours and she then moves up in status. It is more like a game than therapy although she does receive help from the Doctor in gaining insight into her problems, which she quickly catches onto and could easily have done outside a hospital facility with the right help. And it is clear that as a writer she lost consciousness and was unable to gain insight into her story or regain control of herself and was forced to be committed.
This film may relate to my intense fear of snakes that blindly plagued me most of my life, that may have been a fear of insanity.
PTSD and triggers…
I’ve read about this many times but was never able to relate it to specific events in my life until the last ten years, as I was too busy acting out or re-enacting events and could not focus on the mental content, see Grof, Beyond the Brain, pg 240.
The Sign of Four – I have been viewing Cher’s album covers and found It’s A Man’s World an interesting design. This is what I mean by triggers. Her cover may have triggered this rash of posts on What’s In Your Head.

Back to Job…
If Israel is the bride of God, then the sacrificial lamb must have been God’s anima…I disagree that man’s unconscious wants to divide and unite…I think it is the presence of some perceived stressor that caused man’s unconscious to divide and his desire to unite as Adam and Eve is to reclaim wholeness. The snake could represent Adam’s manhood that turned Eve on and in order for them both to survive, Adam told Eve to eat an apple. I think the serpent/Satan, (some evil perpetrated by Adam), was the stressor that divided Adam and his anima that he subsequently projected out onto something else to which he united, thus he sacrificed his rib, his anima to create his mate Eve. So Adam was able to project himself out onto whatever he chose, in order to gain that which he desired, which means as I stated before that Lamarck was correct is his theory that one’s physical evolution can be affected by man.
Is this why we have contrasexuals?
About Job…updated
I hated God for what he did to Job. I am of two minds now when I think on this matter. If God is Gad, then he tested Job for his loyalty. If God is the unconscious mind, then Job was tested because of what he put into his own mind, his own doubt about himself and his success were repeatedly challenged by his own negative doubting thoughts, right?
I am reading Jung’s Answer to Job. I’m not buying into all Jung has to say about it. The more I read Jung’s work the more I am lead to think it is one of the greatest manipulations of humankind to date, or rather the unraveling of one of the greatest manipulations to date.

About Androgeny...
This is what I mean by androgenous. This picture of Cher is a perfect example of androgeny though she is expressing a more masculine than feminine pose. Beauty el naturel. My tastes differ greatly from the current trends toward what is considered physically beautiful.

Big Hollywood » Blog Archive » Celebutard of the Week: Cher
Miss Peyser I would argue the point. Cher gets it, apparently you don’t. The handful of ultra-wealthy Republicans you speak about are the ones who have invested in goods and services everyone needs and so they hardly lose when we are in a recession. If people don’t spend, that is spending on products and services that are beyond what one needs for survival, the economy lags, jobs end and people don’t have roofs over their heads and they don’t put food on the table.
Name me one rich person who would go out and buy a cheeseburger from McDonald’s or Burger King. Name me one rich person who would go and buy a broom from a business for the blind. You can say they make charitable contributions but who helps keep these jobs?

Cher interviews - Bing Video
Not wanting anyone to tell you what to do isn’t being a rebel in my book, it’s asking for the respect one deserves as a human being.

Cher, you are right…
…40 is better. Now that I have eased beyond 50, I’m finding the most difficult part of aging to be, more what other people think about older people, rather than what I think about being 54. I keep getting this stuff like, “this old lady thinks she’s gonna be something now,” etc. AARP started sending me stuff when I turned 50. I sent it back.
